Abdulrahim Mohamed

With over 30 years’ experience in the national and international oil and gas industry, Abdulrahim Al Hashemi began his career with Amoco Sharjah Oil Company before joining BP Sharjah’s Operations Department. Over the years, he has held various key roles in operations and integrity management across the gas field, gas processing, oil and gas export, and marine operations.
In 2000, under BP Sharjah’s leadership, he was promoted to Operations Excellence Team Leader and Coach, leading initiatives across Sharjah and the Middle East. His expertise and leadership earned him a promotion to Operations Manager in 2004. In 2008, he transitioned into Communications, External Affairs, Security, and NOC Management, holding key roles at BP Sharjah, Petrofac International, and ultimately Sharjah National Oil Corporation.
Abdulrahim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Swiss Business School. He is an active member of Sharjah’s NCEMA Group (National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority), representing Sharjah Petroleum Department, and serves as a Fellow Member of the Sharjah Emergency Drill & Training Group, supporting emergency preparedness across the emirate.
