Isam El Asad

Isam El Asad is a business auditor and an advisor to the executive leadership team at Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC). Before joining SNOC, he was the advisor to the ADNOC Gas Directorate for four years.
Isam boasts more than 35 years’ experience in finance, management and E&P planning in the oil and gas industries of Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Sudan and Sharjah. He also has ten years’ experience in business auditing.
Isam was one of the first executive staff members to establish SNOC (from 2010 to 2013) having previously been the Finance Manager at ADMA-OPCO, ADCO and Qatar Petroleum. In addition, he was the General Manager of the National Petroleum Company of Sudan.
As a Fellow Member of the Charter Association of Certified Accountants, Isam studied in Khartoum and London. He is a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).
