Masoud Al Hamadi

Masoud Al Hamadi is the Executive Director of Upstream at Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC). He has been with the corporation since 2005 and brings more than two decades of experience across exploration and production disciplines.

Since 2016, Masoud has led the growth and transformation of SNOC’s upstream portfolio, overseeing discoveries of two gas fields in the past five years and advancing development across the corporation’s mature assets.

In 2009, he was certified as a Petroleum Professional by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). As an active and dedicated member of the organization, he has served on the SPE Northern Emirates Board of Directors since 2019 and as Chairman from January 2026. In 2025, he was recognized with the SPE Management Award for the MENA Region. In 2024 he completed the Executive Program for Energy Leaders at the University of Texas, USA.

Masoud holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University (2004) and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University (2010). He also completed the Sharjah Leadership Program (SLP) at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) in 2013.
