NDP GRADUATION CEREMONY

The Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) has successfully completed its third National Development Program following the graduation of the latest batch of Emirati university graduates on September 13 2022. Atotal of |2 trainees have undergone 400 hours of training from May to September in finance and accounting.
SNOC’s National Development Program (NDP) is launched regularly, to provide applied learning opportunities for young UAE Nationals, keen to work in the different disciplines of the oil and gas sector. The NDP goal is to augment the academic education with the working knowledge needed by these young UAE Nationals to become qualified members of the national workforce.

Hatem Al Mosa, CEO of SNOC, said, “The National Development Program has now become a solid part of SNOC’s national commitment to continuously contribute to the pool of talented UAE Nationals capable of fulfilling key roles in public and private organizations in the UAE. We are confident that giving them the right training opportunity will enable them to become part of the country’s strongest assets.”
The previous National Development Programs, have provided SNOC with competent personnel who joined as employees. In 2021, the program has trained candidates who held degrees in petroleum engineering, geoscience and other related disciplines. The UAE National candidates were trained in Exploration and Production, well as technical activities, and health, safety and environment aspects in oil and gas. The training was held under the umbrella of the Petroleum Council of Sharjah and in partnership with Italian energy company Eni.
