SNOC Invited Government

SNOC invited Government Officials to attend and participate in the exercise.

 An IMT simulated exercise was held on September 18, 2017 at the Town Office IMT Center and at the LPG Terminal to test the capabilities of the LPG Terminal First Intervention Team (FIT) and the Incident Management Team (IMT) responsible to respond to an emergency scenario. For the first time ever, Management Team took this opportunity and invited Government Officials to attend and participate in the exercise. This included NCEMA, Sharjah Police & Hamriyah Free Zone representatives to witness the exercise for a constructive experience and to see how well SNOC can fit into their plans in case of an emergency, how they can work together during any emergency and crises. It promoted an environment of preparedness by testing plans and policies, personnel training, questions asked, points shared to incorporate into their system. The exercise was well received by the representatives who stated that SNOC is the first company that have all the facilities & system and would like to encourage other companies to follow the same process and practice.
