Midstream
SNOC’s Midstream Business Unit ensures the safe and efficient processing, transportation, and storage of hydrocarbons that form the backbone of Sharjah’s energy supply. Centered on the Sajaa Gas Plant, our operations process natural gas into sales gas, condensate, and LPG, delivering reliable products for domestic and export markets. The unit also manages underground gas storage, extensive pipeline infrastructure and terminal facilities at Hamriyah Port, enabling large-scale storage, loading, and export of gas, condensate and LPG. By maintaining high standards of operational excellence and asset integrity, our Midstream business maximizes efficiency, supports growth initiatives, and ensures the continued flow of energy that powers Sharjah and beyond.
Our Gas Storage
SNOC transformed the Moveyeid field, first discovered in 1982, into a strategic gas storage hub, ensuring energy security and reliable supply for customers to meet Sharjah’s seasonal and intra-day demands.
Looking ahead, the project aims to expand deliverability to support peak requirements and strengthen resilience enabling clean energy transition for the UAE.
