Sharjah National Oil Corporation operates new project in Sajaa Complex

Sharjah – Mubasher: Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) has announced the commissioning of an LPG Blending and Loading project in Sajaa Complex in the Emirate of Sharjah.

This step reflects the SNOC’s “keenness” to meet the domestic demand for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Emirates News Agency reported, citing the company’s chairman Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi.

The increasing demand for LPG offers SNOC an opportunity to expand in the downstream business and to sell its production of propane and butane in the local market, the top official revealed.

“The Sajaa LPG project is a crucial addition to SNOC’s product portfolio and will make Sharjah a key provider of LPG,” CEO of SNOC Hatem Al-Mosa commented.

The commissioned phase of the project comprises blending facilities, road tanker loading facilities, and utilising existing storage capacity.
