AHMED AL NUAIMI
Ahmed Al Nuaimi is a seasoned energy sector leader with over 18 years’ experience spanning utilities, nuclear energy, and infrastructure across the Middle East. He has held pivotal roles at DEWA, Nawah Energy Company, and ADNOC, where he consistently delivered strategic value through technical innovation and operational excellence.
At the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Ahmed served as Senior Manager of Research Infrastructure & Support Services, leading the development of cutting-edge research infrastructure and overseeing the successful commissioning of the MENA region’s first Green Hydrogen Plant—a key milestone in advancing sustainable energy solutions.
Prior to this, he was Shift Supervisor at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant with Nawah Energy Company, playing a critical role in commissioning Barakah Unit 1, the Arab world’s first commercial nuclear reactor. Earlier in his career, he led LNG and sulfur production operations as Area Team Leader at ADGAS on Das Island, a strategically significant asset under the ADNOC Group.
Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Project Management from Bournemouth University, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah. He is also a graduate of the UAE Government Accelerators Program and the Executive Leadership Program from the Mohamed Bin Rashid School of Government. His professional certifications include PMP, PMI-RMP, and the NEBOSH International Diploma.
