Processing & Refining

Exploration-04

Hydrocarbons from the 3 fields flow into a wellhead compression package that boost pressures sufficient to transport the fluids to the processing plant and into separators. Primary condensate liquid is separated from the gas and flows to a stabilizer tower and into storage at the export terminal. Wet gas from the inlet separator is compressed and enters a sweetening dehydration plant to remove H2S/H2O. The sweet and dry gas enters an LPG recovery plant that separates out propane, butane and secondary condensate which is pumped to the export terminal. The remaining gas is mostly methane at pipeline quality and is compressed further into the pipeline network of Sharjah and the Northern Emirates for use in power stations, industry and domestic supplies.
